What is a Board and Train Program?

How Do I Know if a Board and Train Program is For Me?

If you…

  • Do not have a lot of time to invest in training your dog every day

  • Have a dog with training issues you feel are outside of your capabilities

  • The behaviors your dog displays create big emotions in you like suffocating anxiety leading to a ‘freeze’ response, intense anger, or frustration perhaps even sadness and a sense of “giving up” when these behaviors are displayed from your dog

  • Are willing to make the necessary lifestyle changes once your dog comes home - these things could be changes such as crating your dog at night, providing enrichment regularly, going on structured walks, practicing obedience regularly, using the training tools conditioned during the board and train program and similar such changes.

A Board and Train Program is NOT For You If…

  • You are looking for a magic button to push, and no work will need to be done

  • Seeking someone to tell you what you want to hear

  • Promises or guarantees training results for the life of your dog

  • You want a small investment cost

  • Aren’t willing to take responsibility for the role you play in your dog’s behavior
